The MEL meter is a must piece of equipment in our Team and is used mostly on dance floors and near doorways to capture any movement.

it reads EMF and also has a rem pod built-in with the aerial lighting up a multi-colour display indicating (with an alarm) when a spirit is in the vicinity or whatever has set it off . Then you proceed to investigate whether it's normal or paranormal. We have had lots of captures with this device.

A lovely piece of kit to have on an investigation. It's lightweight, easy to carry and very quick to turn on and start filming.

We usually leave these on tripods and lock them off to keep filming. They are great for night time filming or in cellars or dark rooms with Infrared add on's.

  Dowsing Rods - I find this a very exciting way to communicate with a spirit and love to ask questions and watch as the rods start to move and cross at the top. I find it quite accurate and have had many an investigation with great positive results. Clarifying history is very rewarding when you communicate and determine who your talking to. So Dowsing Rods will be a big part of training as you go through the process of learning new skills on the road of your paranormal course.

Most Investigations we use the SB11 for it is one of the most exiting pieces of kit i have used to date. 

you press the mute button to talk and release and the device scans different radio stations and if the spirit plays ball then we can get words coming through its really fantastic to witness.

​A fascinating piece of kit to have... It works off the principal of shooting little laser dots out all over the area you are in and if anything crosses the beams of light it will break the light and subsequently you will be able to see the spirit. Lots of different grid variations on most pens by turning the end.

Using smart phones along side paranormal investigating kit can be very rewarding. We have used them in many investigation in private dwellings along with other pieces of equipment as spirits can actually use them to communicate similar to the SB-11 through different frequencies .

We ask the client to close their eyes and cradle the phone in both hands with their thumbs poised on the key pad and then ask them to type ,this should then prompt a reaction from the spirit to take over. It really works.

N.Y.P.I. are dedicated to training people in all different aspects of paranormal communication whether its mediumship             or camera work.

One of the early pieces of kit we invested in was the EDI+ which is a Geo Phone. 

We have the advanced one which indicates humidity and temperature changes in the vicinity which are alarmed to show within a difference of 3 degrees C whether there is a change.

it also has Electro Magnetic Field Sensors and Vibration Detectors to inform if it detects movement. 

A K2 was one of the first pieces of equipment I bought as I was starting in the paranormal field and have found this tool very useful.

It is very necessary to have one to take base readings when on an investigation to find out where the hotspots are such as WIFI or electrical equipment that can interfere with your EMF Device so you can rule out the paranormal. 

We have had many conversations with spirits when asking them questions and asking them to light up two lights or go to an orange light for a 'Yes'. 

At the school this is a great lesson and you will learn new skills to take away and use in your future investigations.
